Remembering Chris Farley
I was just browsing around youtube this morning and came across some old Chris Farley clips. It's hard to believe it will be 10 years since he died in December. I can honestly say that he's by far the best physical comedian I've ever seen. Here's a few clips to bring back some memories.
Matt Foley Clips
Some Dancing Clips
Impressions
Fat guy in a little coat
Outtakes
And one I hadn't seen before playing Christian Laettner in the best play that ever was.

More 300 Trailer Re-Cuts
So, a week or two or three ago (shut up, measuring time is stupid) I posted the 300 Anchorman clip. Little did I know just how many 300 trailer re-cuts there were. I still think the Anchorman one is the best - but I'll admit I haven't watched 1/5 of the ones out there.
Here's two I did watch, because these movies are both awesome:
Army of Darkness
The Sandlot
If you've got some time on your hands, check out the rest at [Arrogantics]

Chad Vader - Day Shift Manager
Much like Craig Christ (research Steven Lynch if you have no idea what I'm talking about), here's another misunderstood younger brother. Poor guy. Good find, Krissy.
If you like this, apparently there are more.

Would you pay $50 to watch a new movie at home?
How much would you pay to see a new theatrical release in the comfort of your own home? Comcast is trying to make the "simultaneous release" dream happen, but with prices being proposed in the $30-50 range per screening, the dream looks more like a Hollywood acid trip. Comcast COO Stephen Burke told attendees at last week's national cable confab that studios are interested, but that interest must be limited, for he didn't name names and the studios aren't talking. It is the first time we've heard some quasi-solid pricing details from a major player, however.
My first thought was that $50 is a ridiculous amount to pay for one movie. But on second thought if you think about the whole movie going experience, paying $10 per ticket to get in, dealing with all the kids and waiting in line for food (and no beer). I'd much rather have a few friends over and charging everyone about the same amount you'd pay to get into the movie.
